The Hangvilla is located in the former Séd Cinema building in Veszprém. The property operated as a movie theatre under municipal management from the 1980s until the end of its operation. In 2005, it was purchased by Swing-Swing Ltd. Prior to the Hangvilla project, two institutions successfully operated within it: the Pannon Várszínház with full-length theatrical plays and musicals, and the Expresszó Youth Club with live music concerts and performances. The Hangvilla Multifunctional Community Space is open to all aspects of culture, interpreting cultural traditions as a foundation while accommodating innovative creations. It represents an approach that treats culture as a valuable resource.
